Netherlands Opera has scored a memorable success with Die Soldaten (...) what we see is basically the central Lenz story, leaving the orchestra to convey all the wider implications: wich is dose rescundingly, under Hartmut Haenchens direction. I´ve rarely seen an opera production so hypnotically unifled, pointed and telling. It is an experience. (5 Stars)
